Four 3-ton electric chain hoists with wireless remotes for synchronized tandem lifting, ensuring efficient, precise handling of heavy loads.
Project Overview: This case study details the supply and installation of four sets of 3-ton electric chain hoists, each with a lifting height of 28 meters, for a customer in Italy. These hoists are equipped with wireless remote radio controls for tandem lifting, offering synchronized operation for complex and heavy-duty material handling applications. The hoists were chosen for their robust performance, precise control, and ability to lift heavy loads with ease in a challenging industrial environment.
The client, a large industrial company based in Italy, required a solution for handling heavy loads in a vertically restricted space. The material handling process involved the need for precise control over the lifting operation, especially when lifting large and bulky components. Due to the nature of the work, which involved working in tandem (lifting and moving large loads simultaneously using multiple hoists), it was crucial to have synchronized control.
The solution needed to meet the following key requirements:
After carefully assessing the client's operational needs and space constraints, four 3-ton hook-mounted electric chain hoists were selected to meet the requirements. These hoists were equipped with several advanced features to ensure reliable and efficient performance in heavy-duty industrial settings.
Project Specifications:
This tailored solution, with wireless remote control, synchronized lifting, and versatile design, enables the client to handle heavy, bulky loads with precision and safety, while optimizing their lifting operations for maximum efficiency.

Tandem Lifting Coordination
One of the primary challenges was ensuring that all four hoists operated in perfect synchronization during tandem lifting operations. Achieving flawless coordination is crucial for handling large, heavy loads without risk of imbalance or damage.
High Lifting Height
With a lifting height of 28 meters, the hoists needed to be capable of handling long chains while maintaining efficient operation. Managing vertical lifting over such distances could strain the system if not designed properly.
Wireless Remote Control Signal Integrity
In an industrial setting, interference can affect wireless communication, which is crucial for ensuring synchronized operation and safe lifting.
Increased Efficiency
The synchronized operation of the four hoists allowed for significantly improved lifting efficiency. The hoists worked together seamlessly, reducing the time it took to handle heavy loads. The wireless remote control system also allowed operators to control the hoists from a safe distance, which boosted productivity by eliminating manual interventions.
Enhanced Safety
The ability to operate the hoists remotely and in perfect synchronization greatly enhanced safety. Precise control minimized the risk of lifting imbalances or accidents. The system ensured that loads were moved smoothly and safely, even in challenging lifting conditions, reducing the likelihood of workplace injuries.
Reduced Downtime
With high-performance hoists installed, the client experienced reduced downtime. The hoists' durability and efficient design minimized the frequency of repairs and maintenance, leading to more uptime and improved productivity across operations.
Flexibility in Operation
The wireless control system offered the client enhanced flexibility in managing lifting operations. Operators could adjust hoist movements without being tied to a manual control system or additional equipment. This added convenience meant that operators could respond to changing conditions quickly, improving workflow and operational flexibility.
The supply of four 3-ton electric chain hoists with a lifting height of 28 meters and wireless remote control for tandem lifting was a successful solution for the client's material handling needs in Italy. The hoists provided the required lifting capacity, synchronization, and safety features to handle large and heavy loads in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
This case demonstrates the importance of selecting the right hoist system tailored to the specific needs of the operation, particularly in industries that require high lifting heights, tandem lifting, and precise load control. The flexibility, efficiency, and safety provided by these electric chain hoists helped improve the client's operational performance and meet their lifting challenges effectively.

Button Function Description
"Up": Control the hoist to rise;
"Down": Control the descent of the hoist;
Button 1 to 4: Can independently control the 4 hoists(Hoist No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No.4). For example, if the hoist "No. 1" needs to be operated separately, first press "↑↑" to turn off synchronizing function, and then press the button "1". The up and down buttons can control the lifting of the hoist "No. 1";
"↑": Synchronous start button, press to open the synchronous lifting function of 4 hoists;
"↑↑": Synchronous shutdown button, press to close the synchronous lifting function of 4 hoists, which can achieve single control function;
Note: The interval between two consecutive buttons press should not be less than 1 second to avoid damage to the remote control.
