Rubber tyred container gantry crane

Rubber tyred container gantry cranes ,also known as yard bridges are specialist lifting equipment used to load and unload standard containers in large-scale specialized container yards. It can be used not just in port container yards, railway container yards and other outdoor applications for large and heavy load and object handling with efficiency and safety.

Rubber-tired container gantry cranes use digital frequency conversion speed regulation and can travel in both directions in the container yard. A telescopic spreader that can raise 20-foot and 40-foot containers is included. A mechanical anti-sway device is put on the spreader to reduce the swing. The rubber tyred container gantry crane has a conventional span of 23.47 meters, but cranes with non-standard spans are also available. A 40-foot-long 9'6" container can be hoisted over four (or five to six) stacks thanks to the lifting height.
