The charging cranes can be designed with double girder or four girder crane configuration, equipped with double trolleys or single trolley.For the double-girder, double trolley crane configuration, two sets hoist mechanisms are provided on the separate trolley, flexible charging, the two hoisting mechanisms can cooperate together or work independently.The charging cranes with double-girder and single trolley crane configuration have the two sets hoist mechanisms placed on the same trolley which are featured as light weight,small size and flexible charging.
Applications
The charging basket handling crane are adopted during steel processing which are mainly used to charge cold scrap into the furnace. The electric arc furnace charging crane shares the same features of ladle crane with high safety and precision.In some steel plants, the charging cranes also can be used to handle molten metal which needs to be designed accordingly.
