Based on different application and requirements, the floor mounted jib crane can be classed into three types Bolt-type base plate mounted foundation, Insert mount foundation or sleeve insert mounted foundation.
- The bolt type base-plate mount foundation was the first and most commonly used jib crane foundation design; the pillar of the jib crane has a base-plate that is securely bolted to the concrete floor.
- For a permanent crane solution, insert mount foundation is with a permanent pillar jib crane foundation with the jib column mounted within the concrete floor.
- The insert sleeve mounted pillar jib crane foundation is designed to build a separate steel sleeve that is permanently installed in the concrete floor, allowing the jib to be slid into or removed from the sleeve quickly and easily.

We had engineers design the foundation for the 3.2T jib crane and the one requirement is to manufacture a pate tat fits the steel column base of the jib crane.Our supplier that will make the plate would like :" to make sure they put the bolt holes to suit this layout .
The layout is from their provided drawing but it did not really have 100% accurate sizing.So just to make 100% sure"
First two attachments you sent us. Please could you review the 3rd attachment to ensure that it will fit the 32.ton jib crane steel column base( the holes in particular. )

The Australian customer's foundation supplier designed the foundation according to the drawing we sent, but it is necessary to ensure that the column foot plate of the floor mounted jib crane is consistent with the foundation, so that the bolts can accurately connect the column foot plate and the foundation. The column foot plate provided by the customer's supplier Drawings cannot be guaranteed to be 100% accurate, so we check and confirm the foundation drawing of the floor mounted jib crane are 100% fit with the column base plate and bolt holes.
