Solutions to meet the technical requirements

Based on Peru customer reply that they wanted the rotation speed to be very slow and they could add a frequency converter by themselves, but the output power requirement was large enough.  The suitable rotating motor is selected according to customer requirements and the  quotation was emailed to Peru client.

• Electric trolley type chain hoist - 5 ton -5.1m lifting height, 3 phase 220v 50hz, double lifting speed travelling speed with variator , pendant button control
• Gear motor for rotating - Allowable output shaft torque 2650N.m, trasmission ration 391, output 3.7 RPM, Power 1.5kw.

Feedback of the recommended jib hoist and motor solutions

The customer is very satisfied with the quotation, and confirmed the number of hoist running cables and handle buttons for some required accessories, and updated the quotation.

In the quotation falter the electric system type festoon of 4 meters.

The hoist and crane control has 6 movement button besides emergency stop and start； Up, Down, right travelling, left travelling, right rotating, left rotating.

A week later,we received an email from Hugo reconfirming the chain hoist requirement. Due to the client company's system, the procurement of equipment is very rigorous, so many issues have been repeatedly confirmed.

• The Electric Chain Hoist must has his electromagnetic brake.-Yes,it has electromagnetic brake.
• We need to know the minimum velocity and the maximum velocity of Electric Chain Hoist. -The lifting minimum velocity is 0.9m/min, maximum velocity is 2.7m/min; the traveling minimum velocity is 5m/min, maximum velocity is 21m/min.
• We need to know the buttons quantity on hanging control.-The control has 6 movement buttons besides emergency stop buttonand start button: UP, DOWN, right traveling, left traveling, right rotating, left rotating.
• The regulation distance of the trolley considering that our structure is 230mm wide. The standard maxmum wide of hoist trolley is 178mm as it shown in the drawings, we can make it to 230mm to fit your structure which cost extra 40 USD.
• We need to know the power of motor Electric Chain Hoist. -Lifting motor power is 3.0/1.0kw, traveling motor power is 0.75kw.
• We need to know lifting distance. - Lifting height is 5.1m as it shown in the drawings.
• Mechanical device of overload.- Yes,included.
• It has career limiters. - The lifting limiters included, but the traveling limiter not include, if add it need 60 USD.
• Manuals for installation and maintenance define language(Spanish/English). -Yes,the manuals included which in English.

The Peru customer sent the design drawing to reconfirm whether the installation position of the rotating motor was satisfactory and whether the reducer is a three-in-one. They need the actual finished product drawing to pass the management.

After all was confirmed, we won the order. The above picture is the rotating motor for 5 ton pillar jib crane project in Peru.
