4 sets of crane end carriages are supplied for one of several reasons:

• Spare sets: One or two complete spare sets of end carriages for maintenance or replacement, so the crane can be put back in service quickly
• Two cranes: Two complete underhung bridge cranes each requiring 2 end carriages (1 per crane = 2 sets; 2 cranes = 4 sets)
• Multi-crane runway: Multiple cranes running on the same runway system, each needing its own end carriages

• Different configurations: Some sets may be configured for left-side travel and others for right-side travel, depending on the drive arrangement

The 12m span is the distance between the two runway rails — measured from the centerline of one rail to the centerline of the opposite rail. Key points:

• Span (12m): The center-to-center distance between the two runway rails is 12m (12000 ± 3mm)
• End carriage position: The two end carriages are positioned at the two ends of the crane bridge, and the spacing between them is the span (12m)
• Wheel position: The wheels on each end carriage sit on the top of the runway rail (or the bottom flange, for underhung cranes)
• Bridge length: The bridge girder is slightly longer than the span — the additional length is the overhang that accommodates the end carriages
• Wheel load: The 12m span contributes to the wheel load calculation — a longer span means a larger bending moment on the bridge and a larger load on the end carriages

The 12m span requires a bridge girder of appropriate section and an end carriage rated for the resulting wheel load (15.2 kN in this model). If the span changes, the end carriage design must be re-evaluated — contact Yuantai with your specific span.

The CD2t electric wire rope hoist is specified for this crane end carriage because:

• Matched capacity: The 2t capacity of the CD2t hoist matches the 2t capacity of the end carriage and crane
• Proven design: The CD-type hoist is a widely used, reliable electric wire rope hoist with a long track record in workshops and factories
• 8 m/min hoisting speed: The hoist lifts at 8 m/min — a practical speed for general workshop handling

• ZD31-4 3.0kW lifting motor: A proven hoist motor for the 2t capacity

The 15.2 kN max wheel load and I 20m-45c rail type are chosen through a careful engineering calculation:

• Wheel load calculation: The wheel load is determined by the crane's own weight, the hoist and trolley weight, and the rated load (2t), distributed across the wheels of the end carriage based on the crane's center of gravity
• 15.2 kN per end carriage: This is the maximum load that any single end carriage must support during normal operation, including dynamic forces from lifting and travel
• Rail type selection: The rail must have sufficient head width and web thickness to support the 15.2 kN wheel load without excessive wear or deformation — the I 20m-45c rail is selected to match this requirement
• Wheel diameter Ø130mm: The wheel diameter is matched to the rail type and the wheel load — a larger wheel reduces rolling resistance and increases rail contact area
• Buffer stroke 30mm: The buffer absorbs the kinetic energy of the crane when it reaches the end of travel

Do not substitute a smaller rail or different wheel diameter without a full engineering recalculation. The wheel load and rail type are safety-critical parameters.

The SZW-050 crane travel motor is used on this end carriage because:
