Double girder overhead crane uses
Double girder crane- The two bridge beams are usually supported on the top of the runway end trucks, whith a top running trolley hoist as the hoisting mechanisms. The double girder overhead cranes are usually known as a top running crane, which travel along on the top of the two bridge beams to improve headroom under the crane.
Double-girder overhead travelling cranes with higher lifting capacities and longer spans are widely recommended for heavy-duty material handling. As a result, the crane parts and components of a double girder travelling overhead crane system, such as the hoist trolley and open winch trolley, are more complicated in design, making double girder overhead cranes more expensive than single girder overhead cranes.

Gantry Crane
A gantry crane is an overhead crane with freestanding legs that move along a track or rail system or on wheels. When an overhead runway system are not available, gantry cranes are frequently used. They are typically used outdoors or in conjunction with an existing overhead bridge crane system. A gantry crane, unlike a bridge crane, does not require permanent runway beams and support columns because it is not attached to the building's support structure. When compared to a bridge crane of comparable specifications, this can result in significant material cost savings and be a more cost-effective option.
Single girder gantry crane
Single girder Single girder gantry crane is a light duty single girder gantry crane which is generally used when the loads Q≤50 ton and the span S≤35m. Single girder gantry cranes have a very wide application, which can be adopted when overhead crane or bridge crane is not practical.
The single girder gantry cranes can be used indoors or outdoors, for material handling in various industrial applications such as in steel stock yards, pre-cast segment yards, construction sites , open-air storage yard, freight yards, docks, power plants, ports and railway stations and other places for cargo handling and installation operations.
- Box girder crane – The main girder of the overhead crane is fabricated by a four-sided steel box structure. This enhances the bridge crane's load capability and allows for longer bridge spans.

Slewing jib cranes
